Antique French country sideboard dating to the mid-18th century has three drawers over two carved paneled doors that open to reveal a single shelf. Constructed from oak with a beautiful warm, aged patina, the sideboard features a planked top, a lovely scalloped skirt that adds to the charm and character of the piece, and curved cabriole feet. The caramel-hued stain further enhances the beauty of the wood and is in keeping with the current design trends.

Use as a buffet in a dining room, a tv console in the living room, or as a cabinet in the foyer, for keeping your home organized in style.

  • Found in France, dating to the mid-1700s

  • Constructed from solid oak

  • Original brass escutcheons, steeple point hinges, and turned wooden mushroom drawer pulls are present

  • No keys for the lower cabinet doors

  • The top is bowed and not perfectly level

  • The body of the buffet leans back slightly, however, is not structural

  • Typical separation in wood with overall wear is consistent with age

  • The piece has been cleaned and waxed for durability

  • Measures approximately 63.75” W x 22.25” D x 50.25” H
