18th c. French Provincial Sideboard
Antique French country sideboard dating to the mid-18th century has three drawers over two carved paneled doors that open to reveal a single shelf. Constructed from oak with a beautiful warm, aged patina, the sideboard features a planked top, a lovely scalloped skirt that adds to the charm and character of the piece, and curved cabriole feet. The caramel-hued stain further enhances the beauty of the wood and is in keeping with the current design trends.

Constructed from solid oak
Original brass escutcheons, steeple point hinges, and turned wooden mushroom drawer pulls are present
No keys for the lower cabinet doors
The top is bowed and not perfectly level
The body of the buffet leans back slightly, however, is not structural
Typical separation in wood with overall wear is consistent with age
The piece has been cleaned and waxed for durability
Measures approximately 63.75” W x 22.25” D x 50.25” H
