  • The exterior of the chest bears a layer of (old) creamy white paint that has worn in areas to reveal the original 18th c faux bois painted pattern beneath

  • The original lock is present; however, the skeleton key has been lost along the way (as found)

  • The chest is of solid pine construction using dovetail construction

  • The chest interior is still fitted with the original candle box (scarce to find!)

  • Scratches, wood separation, and wear, consistent with age and use

  • Approximately 44.5” W x 20.25” D x 23.25” H
