A rare, small antique barrel found in England. This 19th-century barrel is handmade of wooden slats and secured by five hand-forged iron bands. Due to the substantial weight and quality of the construction, this barrel may have been used to transport some of the most valuable English products of the time period, such as ale, beer, rum, or gunpowder.
