Antique French Writing Desk
A unique writing desk found in France. Crafted from pine, the desk has been stripped to its natural wood finish, and traces of the old stain remain. This wonderful piece boasts an abundance of storage options, featuring an array of 15 drawers and a closed cabinet housing 7 cubbies, and an additional 4 drawers, all of which are adorned with wooden button knobs and cast iron cup pull handles. Both the upper cabinet and central drawer securely lock using the original skeleton key. Comprising two distinct parts, the upper section perfectly nestles into the lower planked desktop, supported by gracefully turned legs, creating an enchanting showpiece.
