Several homes have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places and span architectural styles from classic Victorian to French Colonial.  This antique soapstone mantel was salvaged from one of those incredible homes, and it is a special find!

  • Made of old dark green soapstone

  • Painted black with handpainted details and floral designs

  • Cast iron corbels

  • Breaks down into six separate pieces, which makes transporting and installation easier

  • There are drilled holes on fireplace front, as-found, but may have originally had decorative brass plates, that have since been removed

  • Handpainting is distressed and worn, consistent to age and use

  • No structural damage

  • Approximately 58” wide x 47” high x 10” deep

  • Firebox approximately 31” wide x 36” high
