A rare antique yellow corn whiskey bottle found in Kentucky that would make for a unique flower vase, a collection piece for your home bar or a gift for a special man in your life. The Hayner Distilling company was a mail-order whiskey company in business from 1866 until 1920 when Prohibition forced them out.

  • Hand blown glass with cork bottle stopper

  • The bottle has oxidized to a slight purple tint

  • Label reads: Hayner Yellow Corn

  • Special note on side of bottle dated 11/22/71 reads: “This is a rare bottle with unusual slanted figures reading 1897. Usually the figures 1897 are not slanted. Also the bottle was made prior to 1904 when the automatic bottle machine came into use. Also the label reading YELLOW CORN is rare and the only one I have ever seen.”

  • Bottom stamped design “Design Patented Nov. 30th, 1897”

  • Embossing on the back of the bottle reads “The Hayner Whiskey Distillery Troy, Ohio”

  • The label is worn, consistent with age

  • Approximately 12” high x 3.5” diameter
