An ornate distressed buffet deux corps (“two bodied buffet”) vitrine having decorative carving around the cabinet doors, two drawers, moulding and drawer pulls. The unique weathered finish adds character that cannot be replicated. Original seeded glass in the upper cabinet doors give a peek into interior green-painted body and shelf, while the missing lower glass buffet doors open to reveal an interior with a dark stained finish and patterned vinyl sheet.

The buffet deux corps, with a shallow upper cabinet atop a two-door buffet, was a favored type of furniture throughout France, which allowed for ample storage of fine heirlooms and kitchen goods.

We’re in awe of the hand-carved details which dress up the otherwise straightforward design of the piece and and know it will add loads of character to any room of your home.
