Dry-Scraped Elm Chest of Drawers

A chest of three drawers, found in Belgium, with a beautiful serpentine curved front, detailed moldings, and bun feet. Made of rustic elm wood that has been dry scraped of its finish. Remnants of gray, black, and white paint are present and highlighted in the texture of wood. Dovetail construction is apparent at each drawer, adding to its story and craftsmanship. Hardware may or may not be original, but each drawer has a working locking mechanism and key. Drawers glide easily when using both hands. The inside of each drawer has a new gray paint finish, as found. The dresser is of a substantial weight, built to last, and has no structural damage.
