Weathered barn door salvaged from a storage building tucked behind a church in the French countryside. Primitive in design, the front of the door is dotted with hand-forged iron nails and bears a small wooden cross at the top. Lean against the wall as an art piece at the end of a hall or use to separate two spaces by adding sliding barn door hardware.

  • Salvaged in France, 18th century

  • Front of door features the original white paint which has weathered over time

  • Back of door shows a lovely aged patina

  • No hardware remains

  • Tree branch “handle” is attached to the back of the door

  • A wood panel has been added to the lower portion of the front of the door for stability; one panel is missing (as found)

  • Lower center of the back of the door shows some wood loss (as found)

  • Wood separation present, with overall condition consistent with age and use

  • Approximately 39.75” W x 72.75” H x 3” D
