A beautiful antique 3-panel door from an early 1800s French chateau. The front features a three-panel configuration framed with beveled trim, while the backside is flat and was once upholstered with fabric.

This door would look lovely enclosing a pantry or linen cabinet, leaned against the wall as an objet d’art, or attached to the wall and used as a headboard.

  • Original creme colored paint on the front side with blue-green paint on the back

  • Visible nail holes and remnants of nails on the backside left behind when upholstery was removed (as found)

  • Hand-forged nails and wood pegged construction

  • The original lock is still attached to the backside of the door but no other hardware

  • Wear consistent with age and use

  • Approximately 23” W x 1.125” D x 81.25” H
