French Drapers Table with Turned Legs

Once utilized in a cloth merchant’s shop of the past, we think this amazing table would add warmth and character when repurposed as an island in a modern kitchen. The table features a beveled edge planked top, which rests upon hand-turned legs ending on turned bun feet. Two drawers set in the apron on the front of the table provide room for the storage of linens or utensils.

  • Found in France, circa 1920

  • The table bears the original medium chestnut stain

  • One upper and one lower piece of small decorative trim is missing

  • Handcrafted from solid oak

  • Original ornate iron cup pulls present

  • A few nicks and scratches are present; overall condition consistent with age and use

  • Approximately 86.5” L x 31.25” W x 33.25” H
