French Oak Door, 28" x 89"
A reclaimed French oak door dating from the late 1800s. Door features a three panel configuration with understated raised beveled molding. The raw natural oak has distressed beautifully over time giving it a beautiful warm patina.
No hardware other than original hinges
Wood in the bottom panel has split, however there is no structural damage
“XIII” carved into the front of the door, presumably to indicate to the builder the location of the house the door should be installed
The door has been cleaned and lightly waxed
Wear consistent with age and use
The door is heavy and solid
Approximately 27 7/8” W x 1.25” D x 89 3/8” H
