French Shop Counter
A small shop counter dating from the late 19th century, found in France.
This custom-built counter features decorative corbels, paneled front and sides, a closed-back with two drawers and two cabinets, and original paint. Besides stripping the wood top to its natural state, we have left as much as possible in the condition it came to us to allow the piece to tell its own story. This antique piece would make a stunning and unique centerpiece in a kitchen.
All original paint
The counter has been cleaned and lightly sealed
The top is approximately 52.5” long x 23.5” wide
The piece is approximately 46.5” long x 20.5” wide at the base
The overall height is approximately 35.25” high
