Accent your decor with soothing earth tones to create an instant calming effect on the overall mood and vibe of your home. Once a utilitarian vessel used for food preservation in its former life, we think this stoneware pot now makes a beautiful accent piece whether left unadorned or filled with a plant or bouquet of flowers.

Originating in Chatelet, Belgium in the late 19th century, this type of pottery is often referred to as “redware”, due to the reddish-brown tint of the clay. Its glossy, almost iridescent glaze enhances its appeal.

  • Jar is hand-thrown and salt glazed

  • Features character marks, crazing, and some slight discoloration

  • “P.B. 1 1 2” stamped into the upper portion near the opening

  • A minor chip is present in the bottom of the pot (not structural)

  • Overall signs of wear consistent with age and use

  • Measures approximately 18 1/4” H x 14” W diameter (at the widest point)

  • Opening measures 9 3/4” W diameter

Available for pick up, local delivery, and nationwide shipping.
