(Pair) Gustavian Period Side Chairs
A pair of Swedish Gustavian period side chairs. Crafted from solid wood during the late 18th century, these beautiful chairs feature hand-carved detailing and gracefully curved tulip backs. The body of the chairs has been dry scraped, revealing muted shades of blue-gray and aubergine, while the seat cushions are left bare and deconstructed in their original cream-colored lining.
With their elegant silhouette and neutral color palette, these chairs will infuse your home with classic Swedish style.
Chairs should be used as occasional pieces and are not suitable for everyday use.

Chairs are deconstructed and do not have upholstery
Tacked in place, the original cream-colored liner bears light staining
One chair leg on each chair has been repaired (as found)
Overall wear is consistent with age and use
Each chair measures approximately 20” W x 19.5” D x 36” H
Floor to seat measures 17.5” H
