A set of three antique French purple-hued softcover books, “Histoire de la Décadence et de la Chute de L'empire Romain” (History of the Decadence and Fall of the Roman Empire), dating from the early 19th century bundled together with vintage light gray seam binding. The three works include: Tome Neuvième (Ninth Volume), Tome Onzième (Eleventh Volume), and Tome Treizième (Thirteenth Volume).

All three books are bound in a slight purple-hued paperback, and have wonderfully tattered-edge pages
Overall wear and tear consistent with age
Book One:
Handwritten title on spine along with the numbers “2.487.”
Several pages were not cut along the top prior to binding

Several pages were not cut along the top prior to binding
Book Three:
Handwritten title on spine along with the numbers “2.528.”
