Originally used for food preservation, this utilitarian, antique piece of pottery is a wonderful collectible item that helps infuse our modern homes with old-world charm.

Found in France, glazed inside and out, the jar is a soothing neutral shade of creamy beige. Hand-crafted and having rounded knob-like handles, the jar is perfect for displaying a potted plant, dried botanicals, or kitchen utensils.

  • The pot has naturally aged over time resulting in a beautiful time-worn patina

  • We believe the jar once had a lid with a metal locking mechanism that would have attached by being inserted into the holes in the handles

  • Jar has character marks, crazing, and slight discoloration

  • The spout at the lower front edge of the jar is missing its cork (as found)

  • Overall signs of wear consistent with age and use

  • Measures approximately 9” W at the widest point (10.25” W including handles) x 7.5” W at the base x 8.25” H

  • Opening measures 6.25” W

Available for pick up, local delivery, and nationwide shipping.
